Our newest property is Vina Ventisquero, whose winery is located in Maipo Valley, Chile.

Ventisquero first began production in 1998 and is currently managed by a youthful, creative and entrepreneurial team. Instrumental in the construction of their new winery in the Maipo Coast in 2000 was Chief Enologist Felipe Tosso. This was the valley from where their first grapes were harvested and made into wine. Three years later, they ventured into the Casablanca Valley and the famous valley of Apalta, recognized today as the birthplace of Ventisquero's most celebrated wines.

By definition, a Ventisquero is an area in the mountain where great accumulations of snow take place, protected in such a way that the wind forms whirlwinds that attract it. Visually, the Ventisquero is one of the greatest expressions of nature; its perfection, beauty and magnitude overwhelm the soul when one stands in front of it.

With estate vineyards located in Chile's best winegrowing regions - the Maipo Coast, Casablanca and Colchagua - and rigorous research aimed at understanding terroir, Vina Ventisquero's mission is to consistently deliver the finest quality in their wines.
